Follow up tests from 31 weeks

I just wanted to quickly share the results from the follow up doctor appointment this morning. I had to get a fetal fibronactin (I might have spelled that wrong) test which would determine if I am leaking amniotic fluid. If the test came back positive it had a 10% chance that I would be having the babies within the next two weeks. The doctor also mentioned that if it came back positive then I could be admitted to the hospital overnight so that they could monitor me more closly. Thank goodness - I got the call around 2:00 and she said that my test came back negative!!!!!! So for now, we are not on strict bed rest and it is more like house arrest. I was very worried about this test but thankful for the reassurance that we are still doing good. I need to hold off on having these babies for at least 4 more weeks. This has been an emotional roller coaster from the begining but I know that it is just preparing us for the true roller coaster of having kids.
I am now going to the doctor twice a week so I will continue to keep you posted!
