almost 7 weeks old

Friday will officially be 7 weeks since the babies were born! What a roller coaster we have been on - but it is getting close to being over... at least the NICU part of the roller coaster. We are hoping that this weekend will be the big weekend! Both Olivia and Peyton are taking all their feedings from a bottle and they are continuing to gain weight. I don't know the exact weight of each baby but Peyton is somewhere close to 6 lbs 4 oz and Olivia is 5 lbs 14 oz.

Both babies will have to take a car seat test before they can come home - and pass. They have both already taken it and passed... all they had to do was sit in their car seat for 2 hours and maintain good oxygen levels. The nurses had to modify their seats by rolling blankets up and putting them around the babies.

**** Aunt Jackie came to visit and held both babies!****
Don't worry Peyton always makes that face!

*** Peyton and Olivia both make this face right before it is time to eat!***

Doc said that once the babies do come home... we are not to have any visitors for 2 weeks... then after that we are to limit the visitors. It is so different having preemies than full term babies... The doctors and nurses have all told us that we have to be VERY cautious with our babies, especially coming up on winter! They are high risk for getting a virus called RSV.
